My cat is an avid plastic eater so I try my best to keep it away from him, but I really didn’t expect that he’d tear open a fabric toy with a battery-powered squeaker inside and eat it!
I’d go to the vet or at least call but it’s very late at night (1am) and I have no way to contact them. Not only that, but I don’t have my driver’s license and my family who lives with me won’t take me seriously!
Is this urgent? Do I have to beg for him to be taken to the vet when it opens? He’s acting normal but I know that hard plastic is bad for cats so I’m really freaking out. (I don’t know how long it’s been since he’s eaten it, I just found the torn up, ransacked toy under a chair).
