I always stay in my room, but not once since a few months has my cat willingly entered my room. He usually stays in the living room, or in my sister's room otherwise. Occasionally, he even enters my mom's room or my other sister's room, and actually stays there for a while. When I pick him up and put him in my room, he goes straight for the door, or will try to open it and meow if I closed it. I don't remember an event or item in my room that he would be scared of. I'm worried that he hates me because i'm the one who takes him to the vet when he needs it, so he associates me with "bad experiences," while all my sister has to do is fill his food bowl everyday so that he loves her more than me, which honestly kinda pisses me off.
