Some friends just moved into my husband’s and my house. One of them, Peter, is mildly allergic to cats, and we have two cats living here. He was completely aware moving in and does fine with them, but every once in a while he gets a little uncomfortable/itchy on our couch when we’re all hanging out together. We vacuum the couch pretty regularly, but it is fabric and just tends to hold onto some of that dander.
What can we do to help Peter feel more comfortable? Thinking about getting a leather loveseat maybe? I’ve also heard of pet sprays that eliminate allergens, but do those actually work?
