Background : I have a Boxer (4) named Cooter (from Dukes of Hazzard) . We have a dedicated coat rack for dog leashes .
Cooter’s been loving the constant attention ever since quarantine happened . I’m normally a pretty active person so I wanted to take him for walks so he could get some exercise as well . So everyday around 12 I’d bring him upstairs so he could get his harness and leash on . He’d watch me grab it from the coat rack and immediately sit on a carpet near by . After about a week , I was in the kitchen with my mom watching TV when all of a sudden we heard a big clonk . Cooter grabbed his harness off the coat rack and brought it to the carpet so I could put it on . So not only does he know how to go on walks whenever (He will literally do it whenever he wants) but he also knows how to put his arms through so I can click it on . Guess how many more walks we’ve been taking ..
