One of my cats is 13 years old and yesterday our veterinarian confirmed our fears of her condition. She has fluid retention in her legs and abdomen which makes her eat a lot less than usual. The vet doesn't know what exactly is wrong it could be heart failure or liver failure (she has an enlarged liver). I have read about bone broth and its benefits it can do for cats, I bought some (without garlic or onions) and I tried giving her some. She won't drink it. I tried soaking treats that she likes to eat in them, she wont eat them. I really want her to drink some everyday if possible but idk how I can give it to her. I just have some small hope that if she drinks it it will help her out. My other cats drink it no problem, but she doesn't. Does anyone have suggestions on how I could give her bone broth ?
