So background on my cat before I ask, Cinder is a female cat of a unknown breed and age, possibly 2 or 3 years old. I had got her for free from a friend which wasn't really a best living condition for her, She was slightly underweight by her looks. Living with other 2 cats which was her uncle and grandmother. Cinder isn't really a cuddle up and fall asleep with you type of cat, She generally hates attention but will lay above your head or on your stomach here and there times. On to the reason i posted this, So i noticed ever since quarantine, i stay up longer on the computer, usually really early in the morning, around midnight to three in the morning, she is a completely different cat. I lay on the floor as im on the laptop. She will be getting in my face, purring, and a lot of times she would curl up between the laptop and my chest, sometimes laying on the open laptop and when i pet her or scratch her sides and shoulder blades, she doesn't bite me like she normally would during the day. Also when i play certain music, I would sometimes sing to the music and sometimes I wouldn't and would do the same thing to me when i sing or just listening to music, I believe the song she mainly comes to me is Everybody Hates Me by The Chainsmokers. Does anyone have a idea why this happens?
