should i receive a complimentary sedation for my cat or am i being a karen for thinking this way?

hi, my 3y/o female DSH was going to the litter box about 5 times an hour and not doing anything while in there so i figured she had a uti. i took her to the vet for her appt at 10:30 am and was told she would be ready by 1:30 latest. it was 2pm and i had not received a call to pick her up yet so i called just for them to tell me that hey havent even gotten a chance to get to her yet. i was a little confused but figured they were just busy. they then call me 30 minutes later to say shes "way too aggressive" to be looked at and that she requires sedation to receive a urinalysis. i was eager to get to the bottom of her issue so i agreed to the sedation even tho i was slightly irritated that its taken them this long to tell me this. obviously my cat is going to be on edge after being in a random place, smelling a bunch of other animals and not having any food. fast forward another 30 minutes, they call me again to tell me that the sedation was basically pointless because the vet tech didnt notice that she peed in the kennel so her bladder was empty...so my cat got sedated for no reason which isn't ideal and i paid for the sedation ($180) for no reason. when i picked her up and paid i asked the woman at the front desk if i would be able to get another sedation free of charge considering that if they had noticed that she peed then the vet wouldnt have done the urinalysis (those were his words when he called me to tell me he couldnt preform it) she said i would have to wait until the manager on duty for the day was back. they ended up just sending me home w antibiotics which helped for about a week but now shes frequenting the litter box often again. i want to get a urinalysis again so i can get to the bottom of this issue. is my mindset wrong or should they sedate her free of charge? thank you <3
