Hello, I recently went to the vet for my 4 year old feline friend and they recommended a tooth extraction for guaranteed 1 tooth and a maybe for the surrounding teeth. While I know this is to help remedy tooth pain in my cat, I am extremely hesitant about removing tooth/teeth as it results in permanent change, like removing my own tooth would do. Humans have deep cleaning, fillings, and other preventative measures to reduce the need for a tooth extraction. Regardless of cost, I want to help my cat's teeth recover from the resorption and severe gingivitis by using alternative measures. Sadly, I understand that these teeth problems are a result of my ignorance of dental hygeine as a first time pet owner and I am searching frantically to find a way to help my cat recover asap. As such, would anyone recommend alternatives that they have used to help relieve my cat of her tooth diseases?
Thanks for all your input <3
