Dog forgetting potty training because of changing environments?

Hello,

My gf and I recently got a dog together. We don’t live together yet, so she lived in my gf house for 2-3 weeks exclusively to get her trained a bit. Since then, we have alternated between our houses every week or so. We found that she kind of forgot her potty training in my gf’s house, where she used to be pretty flawless in peeing / pooing on the pee pad, now she is peeing / pooing all over the place. Is this because we are moving the dog to and from our places, thus confusing her? Should we keep her in just one of our houses for a longer period?
