ive been giving them time in eachithers spaces, supervising them being in the same room, feeding them regularly and close to eachother, etc. My one cat is an older girl. She's 9 pounds, eats sparingly, and about 8 years old now. She's on the boney side but she always has been and never gave me much more reason to worry about her appetite. My other cat is a newcomer in her space. He's young, and in superstar shape according to my vet. He used ti be stray until i lured hin inside and since then hes been a Sweetheart. He's stout and muscular, shorter than her but about 13-15 pounds. He'll stuff his face on wet food so I feed him dry and that seems to curb him enough. When he sees her he seems super chill and aloof. He lays down, blinks slow, but then as soon as her back is turned he'll go 0 to 60 and it takes some serious reflexes to pin him down before he's on top of her. She's just the opposite. One sniff of him and she'll start hissing and lashing and slashing, regardless if whether or not she can see him. If I take her to his space with his litter box and food shell hide in the couch and i cant get her out without getting some scars. When she kays eyes on him shes all focus and big eyes and hisses. She only turns her back to try and run and hide. But she'll instigate if she has the chance. What do I do? Will they ever make nice?
