Cat owners I need your advice on something, sometimes my cat lays near my office chair and I have this fear that one day I will forget he's there and will roll back over his paws or something. Can someone think of a creative way to ensure this never happens?

99% of the time I'm aware he's there, and I've never done it, but the other day I rolled back quickly for something and realized "holy crap if he was there I would have ran him over".

Other than removing him from the room or setting up a cage, where's a creative/simple way I can ensure this doesn't happen? Can I modify my chair in any way? Is there some sort of barrier I can set up? Just trying to think out loud but can't think of a great solution.
