So last year between May-August during the lockdown pandemic I was cooked up in the house with a cat, a partner who wasn’t get bitten and a f*** load of fleas. It was insane, spent like £200 on different treatments and sprays and bought a £200 pet hoover and had to hoover and spray the house every day for what felt like an eternity. Suddenly it stopped, we were saved. Got a dog in September 2020 and we’ve been buying this thing called Itchpet (dot) com and used it every 4 weeks up until this very day, (September 2020-now) but suddenly my dog and cat are covered in fleas. The poor guys are biting like crazy and I feel awful. Just been hoovering constantly and today I’ve put down the flea spray in every kook and cranny and not sure what else I can do. I’m livid as I’m paying all this money to that company and yet I get this. They are blaming me saying it’s because I allow my dog and cat to go outside and I’m like yeh that’s where they go to the toilet and get walked. Just feels like if I’m paying so much money a month it should be enough and I’m just wondering am I being unreasonable or is this normal to still get fleas when this happens? The pets were treated on the 5th of October and last treatment was the 5th of September 2021. Any advice, negative or positive is welcome.
