so my family's kittens are about five months old now, they were removed from their mother around three or almost four, which isn't really early, so i'm not sure why they do it.
basically, one of them even more than the others nurse on one of our female cats that have never had kittens and have no connection to them, besides being related to their mother but i doubt they know that. they suckle on her and do everything as if she had milk, she takes care of them like a mother but she obviously doesn't have any milk, is it a problem? should i stop them whenever they get taken care of by her, or let them be?
their real mother do not like being around them anymore, she basically avoid or give them a slap if they get close, but they stayed together for a long time before
