How do I curb the food-motivated crying? (My cat is OBSESSED with food)

My cat meows constantly, and runs to the kitchen ahead of me whenever I even walk in the direction of the kitchen. She meows and whines (kind of like how a human would whine, which I have never in my life heard from a cat) even an hour after after she had a meal. She tries to eat my food and begs for it whenever I am eating- if I get up for one second she will start chowing down, whatever it is, so I have to be constantly vigilant. Cooking is near impossible with a cat meowing and tripping me, and jumping up onto the stove to get a taste. This cat knows how to open up tupperware containers, can open cabinets, and ate through a plastic bag the other day to get at a bagel! She is constantly on the counters sniffing around and will eat the food left in the sink drain if I forgot to take it out.

Background: My cat was a stray and I've had her for 3 months. She has warmed up really well and loves to snuggle. At our first visit the vet told me it was probably food insecurity, or maybe that she wasn't spayed yet, or maybe a parasite driving her constant hunger! Now she is spayed, is confirmed parasite-free, and has lived in my food-plentiful home for over 3 months. She has no reason to be anxious that she won't get another meal!

She gets very good (expensive!) wet food twice a day at set times, and dry food once in between. Each time she is fed an alarm goes off letting her know it's time. I feed her with a slow feeder for each meal since she has a tendency to scarf like she hasn't been fed in weeks.

I have locked my cabinets with baby locks. I ignore her flat-out when she meows but it's making it hard to sleep, get work done, or really stay sane. I interpret all her sounds as cries and complaints now and it's hard to tell which are happy and which are her despairing wanting food. Sometimes if I'm in a meeting or want some peace or a good night sleep I put her in the bathroom with her bed, toys and water. Just to stay sane. I've even tried some punishment methods, even though I know you're not supposed to- like a squirt bottle. I have tried lowering the food bowl to her when she's quiet and pulling it up when she meows, but she honestly does not put them together-- that just makes her more persistent! The last few days when I go to the kitchen and she follows me crying and swirling around my legs I don't look down and just start singing LOUD...just to see if that has some affect.

I have scoured the internet far and wide for a solution and have really tried everything. I play with her and try to tire her out each day, she has plenty of toys and a cat tree, and gets to play outside independently on a long leash.

TLDR: I have tried everything and my cat still will not stop crying for and searching for food, no matter the time of day. Please help.
