100% you should make a guardianship plan for your pet(s) so that no matter what happens, they’ll always have a safe and loving home. Things happen. Right now, who would take in your pet if something happened to you? Where would they go?
There's free online resources like FreeWill and the like, too. If you already have a will, it isn't hard to add a little part about where or to whom your pet should go. It's just a good idea.
