I have tried everything. Literally everything and she still refuses to pee in the litterbox, instead deciding to pee on any piece of clothing/item/ bag that is nearby.
Before this, Yuu was fully trained, no problems whatsoever and even cohabitating off and on with another cat with no negative effects. Then, about 6 months ago, she is caught peeing on my clothes. It has only escalated from here.
Before giving me a suggestion please read what I have done first.
- Had her checked at the Vet. She is perfectly Healthy
- Cleaned litterbox after EVERY VISIT
- Changed litters
- Changed boxes
- Used a lid AND no lid
- Moved the litterbox to a more private area
- Added a litterbox
- Got rid of all other animals
- Bought more toys and scratchers
- Bought a pet fountain for fresh water
- Put dirt in the litter box
- Gave treats when she goes in the box
- Positive Reinforcement does nothing as she is fine not getting a treat as much as she likes getting them
- Moved to a new home with more space for her to climb and run around
- I started working from home so i could play with her more.
- Clean the house almost obsessively with an Enzyme cleaner everywhere she peed
- I do laundry everyday to make sure no clothes are exposed.
if anyone has any ideas, please help
