Hi All,
Im in contact with a breeder for a Golden. She mentioned that pups will be available at the 8 week mark, will have first round of shots, but will not have gone thru the deworming process. She has had a couple liters with the parents and she has done this with each liter. She invited me to a fb group of all the previous buys and i messaged a handful of them and, while also saying nothing but good things about the breeder, none have seemed to have a problem starting deworming at 8 weeks, but most googles searches say start at 2 weeks?
I guess my question is if any of you have experience waiting until 8 weeks and how did that go? Ive considered insurance as well, if anyone has recommendations for that as well that'd be great!
