Hello, first time posting on this subject so forgive me if I break any rules. I have a 1 year old Golden retriever/husky mix pup who is usually in good health despite eating stupid things. However, every so often, she starts hopping and favors her back right leg. She will start going and will hop to avoid putting much pressure on it. As far as I know she's never had an injury to that leg and when I put pressure on it/squeeze while moving down the leg, she's completely unbothered. This has been happening for the past few months. At first I thought she might be faking it because she's super smart and a complete lush for attention but now I'm concerned. What could be happening here?
Like I said, I can squeeze/put pressure on the leg as I move down it but she doesn't want to put weight on it. Shell hold it up and hobble along. This only happens a few times a month for about 2 days at a time. I thought maybe she pulled a muscle but a muscle wouldn't heal like that nor would it be reoccurring every few months. Any suggestions are extremely appreciated.
