Hey guys, I recently got a couple of vintage plates and dishes as feeding bowls for my kitten. I’ve read about lead and other chemicals being common in old kitchenware so I am a bit concerned about the health hazards it will have on my pet. Some of the pieces have minor scratching on the glaze but no chipping. I was wondering if the vintage ceramics and glass dishes are safe? Thanks!
(The pieces I bought consists of a - Norcrest/Ucagco Hand painted plate from the 1950s. Like this one here - a soho pottery fruit plate from 1912-1930 (the one with the minor scratching) like this one And a glass bowl
