My mom had to put down her cat today of almost 19 years. It was soul crushing.
I have two cats, one is a year and a half and one is just a tad over a year old. I am curious to know what you guys recommend in regards to preventative plans? What kind of preventative stuff is essential, and what is kind of fluff/not really necessary?
Moo was already fixed, chipped, and her basic vaccines and stuff done when I adopted her. Puff I got from a friend and has the rabies vaccine, but nothing else. I didn’t think about this stuff before because they’re both indoor cats and so far very healthy per the vets standards, but i want to make sure I am doing right by them and also prolong their life.
Right now I feed them Blue Wilderness Weight Management and Hairball Control. (moo has gotten a tad chubby) would a raw diet be better? I don’t mind spending to make sure they’re taken good care of, but obviously if there’s something affordable that provides a well rounded diet I am totally on board.
Thanks in advance.
