I've had to do a lot of bouncing around lately, and either had to leave my cat at my parents house (with 2 cats) where she grew up, without me (which is incredibly stressful for her and makes her depressed) or taken her with me when I moved in with my roommates who have two cats (obviously stressful).
Six year old female, has been around up to 5 other cats at a time during her upbringing, but shes never liked other cats or humans but myself. She's never been one to pull out her hair, but lately she's completely removed the hair from her legs and mid to lower belly. She's meowing for me nonstop, even when we're together. It's honestly very hard for me to watch. I can't allow her to come upstairs from the basement, which is where she and I stay, because of the two other cats I currently live with. One doesn't care, but the other is that nice guy that just wants to hang out but won't take no for an answer, and as I've said, my cat doesn't like anyone or anything but me
I don't know what to do. I got pheromone collars and diffusers, I've tried catnip and treats but she's not fond of them, never has been. I feed her and play with her on a regular basis. I clean her litter all the time to keep a clean environment. She has scratching posts and perches. Should I see if there's something a vet can do/prescribe?
