I have looked through previous posts, but could not find anything that might be the same.
My 5 year old cat is driving me crazy. He acts bored and will pace around the house, jumping on shelves and table top pushing on hanging pictures. He has also randomly started trying to pull things off shelves low shelves like my entertainment center. He does it to get my attention because he will look back at me to make sure im looking at him.
He has countless types of toys, self-play toys like catnip mice, rolled up pieces of cardboard, bottle caps. All of which he played with intensely at first but then stopped playing with each of them. But the mice and cardboard he puts in his water and it destroys them. So i try not to let him have those. I bought a laser pointer to play with him and tonight he started reaching for stuff on shelves so i pulled out the laser pointer and he played for maybe 5 minutes and then stopped. So i turned it off and he immediately went back to pawing at frames on the wall and pull stuff out of my entertainment center.
Anyone else have a cat that did this?? Any tips?
