Cat (1yr) has a possible hairball blockage?

Posting on mobile, sorry for formatting. Tl;dr at the bottom...

I have a 1 year old medium/long haired cat. She’s the runt of the litter, always been small, and is a little more susceptible to illness. But she’s happy and (usually) healthy!

She just got her yearly wellness check and everything went well. The day after her check up (of course) she started acting a bit unwell. She’s been vomiting white foam here and there, and her appetite has gone. When I look at the foam I can see hair in it, which leads me to believe it might be a hairball. Serves me right for not brushing her this winter....

As I said, I juuust took her to the vet, and finances are tight (please no lectures) so if I can treat this at home that would be preferable.

I’ve been syringe feeding her water and moist food for the past few hours. She seems to keep it down about half the time. I gave her some Laxatone hairball gel as well. I was thinking a bit of pure pumpkin to help smooth everything out on the inside, but haven’t done that yet.

She’s been taking things easy, but I wouldn’t say she’s acting particularly lethargic just yet. She’s still alert and able to play, and doesn’t seem to be in pain.

Any home remedies, or suggestions to help her pass what I assume is a gigantic hairball?

(Ps, I will absolutely take her to the vet if she doesn’t perk up, so please don’t worry!)

Tl;dr My 1 year old kitty has a hairball(?) that won’t come out. She’s vomited white foam with hair in it. Syringe feeding is hit-or-miss. Need suggestions for at-home care.
