Hello! So I’ve been doing some researching and... still not very sure which dog breed I should get... but schnauzers seem to be okay. I’m here just so I can make sure that I’m doing okay.
So I’m a full time student (ehh not in college, I can tell ya that) so I’m planning to get my dog during the summer so I can bond with them (gotta do research before hand) and I heard that schnauzers are good at home alone as long as you give them all your attention when you’re back, which I’m sure I can do aside from doing homework (I need to prepare for when school DOES start next year).
I also read that schnauzers need a lot of exercise, which I’m not very good with besides setting aside a 30-45 minute walk a day (can I do this? Am I allowed to?)
Barking may be an issue but training can help and I’ll be sure to crate train my dog.
Reasons why a (miniature) schnauzer might be ideal for me?
• fine home alone (maybe) • I need exercise! 30 minutes should be good for me (if they’re fine with 30) • will not have breathing issues when traveling • likes to be with me (I get scared alone) • my uncle has dogs and it would be nice to socialize them with each other
Please give me tips if this is ideal for me, and also please don’t hesitate if I shouldn’t get this breed! Thank you! Also keep in mind that I’m not very sure with any of this so I won’t be saying anything like: “wELL I DID THE RESEARCH SO IM RIGHT”... you’re probably the right one haha (I talk too much sorry)
