Cat claw caps preventing her from retracting it

I applied claw caps on my cat for the first time in an effort to harmlessly stop her from running my house any further since she already ruined my carpet and few chairs despite having scratching posts. However I think I applied them wrong since her claws are short and due to the minimum directions found anywhere. I extended her claws and pushed the claw caps all the way over it until it gets to the skin/fur. That meant that she can't retract them anymore, does that have any harmful effects on a cat? Should I be worried and take her to a vet to take the caps off somehow since I tried to take them off after realizing that but they're glued on good. If it's harmless then I'll just wait until her claws grow and she can retract them again, and once they fall off I'll apply them correctly in the future to where she can retracts it.

Ps: she kept trying to take them off at first but she is walking and running fine, she is acting normal too and now she is sleeping on her bed.

I just applied them like 2 hours ago.
