Sometimes.
Let me explain. Previously my crappy ass roommate lost his cat and it came back for a couple days before getting lost again! When his cat came back, it was crapping in the bathtub when no one was home... and we finally caught him doing it and started shutting the door all the time and it stopped. Well, then he got lost again and we figured we could open the door again... but now MY cat is going in there and I can only assume it's because he learned it from the other cat as he never did it before.
Now, he still uses his box when he's in my bedroom, but my roommate often let's him out of my bedroom and shuts my door so my cat can't get back in... and then said roommate leaves the bathroom door open even though I've told him to shut it and he won't, so my cat poops in there if he doesn't have access to my room. Roommate refuses to leave my cat in my room and can't leave my door open because his untrained dog is destructive and will ruin my bedroom and he's not willing to pay for that so he shuts my door. I've scrubbed down the tub to get whatever smell might have lingered, but he just assumes that's the emergency toilet now.
Is there something I can spray in there to make him not want to go? Is there something I can't smell that makes him want to go from the last cat? Side note, missing cat also pooped in the office room and my cat will now poop there too if the door is left open. I don't know how to prevent this aside from shutting the doors. Any advice?
Don't say new roommate, because god he is supposed to already be gone but he keeps stalling on when he's leaving. He pays rent and my other roommate owns the place so only she can kick him out. I would LOVE to fix my crappy roommate though. :/
