Hey all, I don't know where else to go as all vets we've been to have no answers to my cats problem. There is a build up of some crud by his eyes and anytime he seems to notice it, he goes crazy and starts scratching himself uncontrollably, to the point of bleeding, hair loss, and even urinating all over the place. It also gets a lot worse in the summer, where he loses about half of his hair. We have tried everything we can think of, giving medicine for allergies in his food, and even ointment for his skin and scabs. Anytime we even get close to him with a tissue he hisses and tries to scratch us. We have no answers as to why this happens and just hoping someone can help even in the slightest! He is about 16-17 years old but has been doing this for about 8 years, getting worse over time. Thank you
