My cat came in looking a little off. We live on a large farm and we keep our cats inside/outside as mousers. He came into looking a bit sketchy, like he looked visibly upset. I fed him, he ate, then I tried to pet him but he meowed. He meows a lot so I thought he was just in a bad mood. He jumps up on the couch and still has that disturbed look. I realize there’s a line or two of blood where he’s sitting. I try to lift him up to examine but he growls, hisses, and runs away. He’s now jumped up onto a bar stool in the dark kitchen and obviously wants to be alone. What should I do? It’s also the middle of the night here no vet is opened until morning.
