My cat litter, purina 24hr performance, is always stuck between my cat's pads. There really isn't a good way for me to clean his pads (he is a rescue, 7yrs, with no known background). He hates it when I touch his paws even with a warm wet towel to try to remove the clumps. This is the only time he's bitten me. What is the best litter to use to prevent all the litter stuck in his paw? I also have a litter mat that does virtually nothing for his paws, so that won't be a viable option unless there's a better one out there.
