We have had a tiny kitten for a week now and our 1 year old cat is still scared of it. Whenever we try introducing them the cat will jump and charge out of the room after hissing at the kitten. The kitten is incredibly small, less than 2 pounds, and it manages to petrify our 1 year old cat. The cat used to spend time in the house with me in my room, but now it only spends time outside avoiding the kitten. How can we help the cat overcome her fear?
