Debating getting rid of my pet because I am in school.

The title makes me sound awful, but I need some advice desperately. I have had a bearded dragon (Frida) for about a year now. I bought her as a grown adult, and she has been such a joy to have. While I love taking care of her, it is difficult. In the time that I have had her, I only worked about 25 hours a week so it wasn’t hard to keep up with taking care of Frida.

I have just started college, and I am commuting about a half hour everyday. I would like to spend a lot of time at school, and my classes almost are dependent on me doing so. I also spend a lot of nights at my boyfriends house who lives very close to my school, so I am wasting a lot of gas going back and forth just to feed Frida. I could ask my family to help, but they wouldn’t understand her light system and her diverse diet.

I love Frida, and in a perfect world I would like to keep her. I just want her to live the best life that she could give and I am worried that I won’t be able to provide that for the next four years.

Maybe this isn’t the best thread to post this in but I need help, advice, experiences, something. Thank you.

tldr; considering selling my bearded dragon due to being away from home for most of the day and money issues. Moral dilemma.
