We have a staircase leading off a small deck that he goes up and down to do his business outside. Recently, he's been weird. For some reason that I haven't been able to discern he won't go back up them sometimes. He's gone up and down them for years with no problem. Has anyone encountered this issue before? It's very strange. The only thing I can think of is the snow hurts his paws? He is a husky/lab mix; I wouldn't think snow would bother him much.
