I have been trying to convince my mom to adopt a pet for about 4 months now. Yesterday when I tried to bring this topic up,she responded with saying that she may rather adopt a human baby as raising it will atleast benefit the society and the country. So I need something to counter her point.(Sorry for any grammatical mistakes if there are any. English isn't my native language.)
