We took in a deaf Turkish angora about 1.5 months ago. She has been great...however.. She is fixated on the cabinet and shelves above the tv and she doesn't stop meowing. We have no idea why. There is nothing in or on there that belongs to her. We also have to put bedsheets over the tv from time to time because she tries to climb on top of the tv to get on the shelves (she succeeded once but then saw her grave mistake of her being too big for the shelves).
We think she also might just want to get on top of the cabinets but we aren't letting her because we are afraid she likes being up there and will demand us to put her up there. We also thought it could be a heights thing since she likes to be up high but we bought a scratching palace thing but yeah... no interest.
Reflections is also a thing it could be since half of the cabinet is glass with glassware but she responds no different with different lighting.
TLDR; Cat doesn't stop meowing at the cabinets
Anyone know why she is so damn obsessed with this stupid cabinet?
