I have a 6 yr old golden retriever/black lab mix that has been relatively healthy but in the last few years he's seemingly become very allergic to something in his diet. I fed him the costco brand yellow and red bag food that are supposedly gluten free or better about that stuff and I've recently(in last month) moved over to the hills science sensitive skin formula stuff but he still has the same symptoms(rashes,biting/nipping at paws and other problem areas, constantly scratching at various areas). I'm trying to avoid spending tons of money on an allergy test and would love suggestions on food or products that you have used to solve similar issues. We do live in a dryer climate but I don't know any other dogs that have his issues
