So, yes, we will go to a vet once the roadtrip is over. I'm asking if we need to go NOW.
Day 7 of a cross country road trip. Cat has been urinating on occasion, but today has spent 5 or 6 visits to the litter box of about 5 minutes each attempting and failing.
New hotel room every night. 12+ hours in the tiny car every day. Not lethargic, not in obvious discomfort.
There is a vet open in the am in our current town.
What I want to know is, who has had a stressed as hell cat, or has seen this behavior without it being a real concern? Like, what are the odds here? If we were at home this would obviously be urgent and a big problem, but I know stress can really mess with cats, and I'd rather not visit a random vet who doesn't speak English if it can wait one more day.
Thoughts?
