I'm living in a one bedroom apartment with 2 cats. I had a 4 years old Labrador visiting and we kept him on leash but decided to abort since he was quite excited about the cats. Now the thing is we would really like to have this work out but I'm just afraid he would maul my cats. He's generally a peaceful puppy but of course things like squirrels and alike make him want to go after it since it's a dogs nature I guess. I know situations like that usually end with the cat slapping the dog for good, but can I be safe in that situation?
