My e year old cat had green mucus in her poop and lost a few pounds.
We were told by the vet that he thinks it is inflammatory bowel disease caused by a food intolerance.
We switched her to a rabbit kind that made her poop look normal again but I'm wondering why inflammatory bowel disease would cause a cat to lose weight?
She never really had full on diarrhea and only pooped once a day. She always ate normally.
