I live on 5th floor and my Cat loves sitting outside. We’ve lived in the apartment for a year and never had any issue.
The balcony is glazed to chest height all the way around and has a rounded top/ridge to it.
I always thought it was too high for my cat to jump up but yesterday I went outside and she was walking/wobbling along the rounded ridge. My heart was in my mouth and I was scared to frighten her...so I just called her inside and all was fine, she jumped down and came inside. I’ve not let her out since.
She is asking to get outside and I feel bad about depriving her, but I would feel terrible if anything happened.
Am I being too protective/paranoid or should I never let her outside again?
