While my family and I were out for the night, our two dogs (one ~75 lbs and the other ~85 lbs) got into a bag of chocolate. We assume they ate it about 5 hours ago at this point (~ 5:30 pm mst). Most of the chocolate was probably eaten by the 75 lbs dog so we're most worried about him.
In the bag was around 6 oz of dark chocolate, and around 3-4 oz of milk chocolate, with a little white chocolate and marshmallow in there. They also ate a bunch of the wrappers and cardboard in the bag.
Normally, we would take them right to our vet, but because of the time they're closed right now. We would take them to an emergency vet if they had more, but from our online research it seems like it's fairly on the edge between needing treatment immediately and the emergency would be fairly expensive.
What all should/can we do right now? Thank you for any help you're able to provide.
