New ragdoll kitten 12 weeks old, came from a home with her mum and siblings so is understandably confused.
We have her closed in one room with everything she needs. She is crying all the time - when we leave her alone she howls, when we're with her she miaows almost constantly too. Every time we move, when there's a sound...
If I sit with her she climbs on me and doesn't want to be left alone. She is either purring and affectionate or attacking me like she's trying to play fight. She's biting and scratching though so obviously it's not acceptable.
I know it's only been a few days and she needs to settle in but are there any tips on how best to manage this so that it doesnt continue?
-
Am I best to keep her in one room? We tried opening up the house to her but that made her worse.
-
Are we best leaving her alone and visiting regularly for affection/playing?
-
Is there anything I could add to the room to help her? She has a tree with scratch post, toys, blanket, bed, food, water and litter tray. It's warm enough.

Is the best course to leave her when she is trying to fight? I'm saying no loudly, clapping etc but she doesn't seem to react to that.
A bit at my wits end so all suggestions welcome
