hi
looking for some advice. I have been looking to introduce a new dog to mine for a while. I have a super friendly 5yr old beagle and met a very sweet 3yr old male chihuahua on Saturday. Also far its the only dog I have really enjoyed and felt worked out with mine they seemed to get along. Only thing is after today (i'm off) I have to work the next 6 days in a row and im assuming its not right to leave a new dog right away. in a week I have another 2 days off so im hoping its still there by then but I know there is a chance he may not be. I work a regular 8 hour day and I knew the new dog comes with a cage but im assuming its risky and not fair to leave the dog alone with mine tomorrow? any advice? would leaving it in a cage be ok? or should I just wait and see if he is there next week when he will have two days with me before being alone.
