I recently had a stray kitten follow me to my doorstep. It looked tired, hungry, and cold so I gave it some food, water, and a box with a blanket to sleep in on my porch.
The kitten is very sweet and just so beautiful but I just took in another stray 3 months ago and I can barely afford him as it is
I have two choices, keep him on my porch un-vaxinated & un-neutred until someone decides to adopt him or I can take him to a shelter where he'll statistically be out down.
It really sucks to have empathy yet lack the resources to help something so small and innocent. I know I'll never truly forgive myself either way.
