Hi there! I have a 5 1/2 year old female Belgian Malinois. My wife and I adopted her back in December and when we first got her she was already potty trained. She had a few accidents at first on our wood floor but then managed to get her to go on a pee pad if need be. She gets 3 walks a day and plenty of time on the walks to go potty. She’s well trained and and is a good dog. However just recently she’s just started to poop and and pee on our carpet upstairs right by the stairs. It’s gotten to the point now where it’s almost an everyday thing even if I give her a walk. I’ve placed pee pads up there to help but she avoids them now and goes on the carpet. I’m at the point where I’m tired of cleaning my carpet and it possibly getting damaged permanently. Any help or reason as to why?
