This started since yesterday, it seems wherever she lays there are wet spots that are definitely not pee. She's almost 9 years old, spayed, and on a diet because of her weight. She's been on this diet for almost a year now. The spots are somewhat sticky and kind of smells like vinegar? I keep on accidentally stepping in them since they're in the middle of the hallway connecting from my bedroom and living room. I looked it up and it says my cat might be developing diabetes or is drooling? I never seen her drool in my life. I don't think it's diabetes since the diet and on top of that, she never eats human food. Can someone explain and help?? ( Yes, I will take her to the vet but I want somewhat of an idea what might be going on )
