Hey guys I’m in need of some advice. My 13 year old pup won’t eat and refuses to go outside when it rains and storms. She has always been afraid of thunderstorms but it has been getting worse to the point of her not eating or going outside at all whenever it rains.
We have tried a lot of things such as a thunder shirt, relaxing music for dogs, peanut butter in her food, even treats but nothing is really working. All she does is cower in our bathroom and shake almost all day and it is one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever seen.
Me and my family don’t really know what else to do and are starting to get very anxious, especially since New Jersey has been plagued with bad storms this week, pretty much daily.
Has anyone else’s pet done this? Are there any good solutions for it?
