My hamster just died today and I want to bury him but it's a little tough as my family wasn't really prepared for it. For our previous hamster, we had to put him down so we had bought everything we needed for a burial (mainly a pot and soil, I live in an apartment so there's no garden to bury). It's also really late so I can't go out and get some. We'll probably only be able to bury him tomorrow but I'm worried about flies and lizards and the decomposition. It's also really hot and humid where I'm from so that worsens it a bit. What do I do til then? Are there any ways to prevent attracting bugs?
