A sad but kinda cute story

So when my dog was still alive, he was the sweetest little boy. Now everyone says that about their dog, but my dog literally had no teeth so he was very polite and not very rough. He was super smart and loved going on very long walks. We called our dog my mom’s “Mama’s Baby” because of how much my mom treated him like her own kid. As he got older though, Buddy (that’s his name) started developing grand mal seizures. Basically those are seizures the vets can’t exactly pin on what is happening. His health became very poor and eventually he passed away at the age of 5. But about 5 months before Buddy started having health complications, my brother won a carnival fish. The fish, whom we named Chuck, short for Charles Sharkley, which is a play on Charles Barkley. When our dog died, my mom had no one else to take care of, especially since all her kids are teens and they don’t really like being babied. But she started taking care of Chuck. Every time she would go to feed the fish, her face would light up and she would use her baby voice. The fish recognizes my mom and starts swimming like crazy when she walks by the bowl, since my mom is the one who feeds him. So the sad but cute part is, the one little thing that always makes her day is feeding the little carnival fish.
