Hi everyone,
My dog and I recently moved to a new place. We moved a lot growing up (he’s 9, had him all his life), and he’s always done really well being rehomed. He’s a super adaptable Maltese-Shih Tzu-Poodle mix.
I work and have an internship but come home and walk him on my lunch breaks and take him out at least 3x a day in general, for at least a 15 minute walk. He seems happy...just bored.
He plays with his tennis ball (the squeaky Kong kind, his most fave ever) and occasionally chews his raw hide but seems to be “over it” fairly quickly.
How do I make his life more fun?? I guess? He’s older and does enjoy chilling, I just can’t help but think he’s bored. There’s not a ton of dog parks around, and he’s kind of a dick with other dogs. I’m kind of at a loss! Just trying to be a good momma to him.
Any advice is so beyond appreciated!
