For as long as I can remember, my orange cat (~10 years old) has loved to lay on his side at the end of my bed and thump his tail. He’s definitely not angry, and he doesn’t seem annoyed or playful. He still loves pats and usually he’s purring when he does it.
My other two cats are normal/predictable when it comes to body language, and I can’t find anything online about it.
Does anyone else have a cat who behaves this way? What does it mean?
